Why this experiment

I love design systems, and I love the coziness of the Christmas season. So I created an Advent-style experiment with 24 prompts and ideas for system builders.

It was a way to play with Figma Make more intentionally and keep the work light, curious, and practical.

What it is

• A daily prompt inspired by systems work, research, and design patterns.
• A mix of tiny experiments, thought starters, and practical exercises.
• A low-pressure way to stay inspired while learning or working on system habits.

How it works

Each day unlocks a new insight or activity. Some are things I tried, some live in my ideas bank, and some emerged while building the experiment.

The goal was simple: give design system people a small gift that sparks new thinking, without demanding a big project.

The outcome

The calendar became a playful way to keep systems work front of mind, and a reminder that experimentation can happen through tiny, regular actions.
